In terms of general dimensions, with a length of 4,345 mm, a width of 1,868 mm and a height of 1,523 mm, the Cross Coupé is positioned between the Golf and the Tiguan.
The Cross Coupé is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain with AWD, featuring two electric motors – one at the front and one at the rear – and a 110 kW direct injection turbocharged gasoline engine (TSI), for an overall outpu of 195 kW.
Given the general layout of the drive system, with the rear electric motor driving the rear axle, the 9.8 kWh lithium ion battery is positioned in the center tunnel.
The main performances are a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7 seconds and an average fuel efficiency of 2.7 l/100 km. The range in pure electric mode is 45 km.
